Book Review: Yes Please

Confession time. This is not the first time I’ve read Yes Please by Amy Poehler. It’s actually the third. I read it when it first came out back in 2014, and then I listened to the audiobook (which I recommend for everyone, it’s amazing).

I decided to pick this book up again because I had just finished watching 13 Reasons Why, and I needed something light and happy to lift my spirits up after that major downer. I received an ARC of this book over the summer when I won a contest at Barnes & Noble. It was trivia night for their teen book festival, B-Fest, and my prize was that I would receive advanced copies of books in the mail throughout the year.

Book Review: The Unexpected Everything

One thing I planned on doing when I created this blog was publishing book reviews. I have been a bookworm basically since I was old enough to understand what books were. Books and reading hold such a special place in my heart, and when I find a book that I love, I always try to push it onto my friends so that we can discuss it. I love giving and getting recommendations for new reads, so that’s why I wanted to add this aspect to my blog. My favorite genre is Contemporary Young Adult but I will throw the occasional fantasy or nonfiction into the mix. So, here it is, my first book review! Hope you enjoy!
